Leafs trade Dion Phaneuf to
Edmonton for Nail Yakupov and Leon Draisati

if this seems a little lop sided in the leafs favor we could send the Oilers and 3rd or a second round pick in 2016 too. Oilers really need a top 4 player in defense and they are stacked in forwards so they balance out for the 2015-16 season and Toronto gets the prospects they desperately need.

just because they need a d, doesn't mean they are going to give up way more than what phaneuf is worth. this deal is so bad I want to pay someone to educate you on value
