H.Lindholm & J.Gibson for JVR, J.Riemer & 1st (Pens)

Ducks have a lot of work to try & keep this team intact after this year, but only a little work to win the cup IMO. I think the Ducks can beat the Hawks, but can they score enough to beat say the Pens or Caps. also this gives cost certainty for Ducks moving forward and nabs them a 1st rounder to trade for a top notch rental if needed. A very strong D in Anaheim will be fine. Leafs land established youth that will flourish and rapidly improve and JVR won't toil away frustrated for the next 3 years in T.O.

I think JVR + 2nd would be worth that especially since there are still question marks around Gibson (like any goalie). Maybe if they throw in a 3rd. I'd target ritchie and gibson though
