In a perfect world

Leafs sign Stamkos as a UFA to an 8 year 10.5 mil contract. Leafs win lottery and draft Matthews This would give the leafs one of the best center combos

Leafs: Lupul, robidas, Bozak, and all the guys the picked up in free agency minus winnik for picks

This next trade is predicated on us getting both stamkos and matthews, we wouldn't need marner and could trade him to draft a #1 defenseman in Chychrun

Keep Marner no matter what! Put hm on the wing instead of Kadri and trade Kadri for a D man! I know this is wishful thinking but I wouldn't trade a guy like Marner aka Patrick Kane.
