The Saad trade and his cap hit wasn’t considered a cap dump trade where Chicago would need to pay to get his hit off the books

In fact Colorado liked saad so much they dealt Zadorov for him and only retained 1 million.

Point is saad now at 5 million is worth quite a bit to sakic

Makar also won’t come cheap. Depending how negotiations for his new contract this coming offseason I don’t even see him becoming available unless he wants Carlson or even worse karlsson money but I highly doubt he will.

Makar for nylander is interesting but don’t think sakic cares that bad to add offence since Makar basically is that offence. Adding Robertson definetly would cause sakic to think long about this

Saad for dermott you’d have to think is a no go since saad at 5 million cost them zadorov. Also Byram will be a pretty good LHD that may overtake dermott but that’s a hypothetical of course

I guess you could deplete the marlies/ prospects and add in both Sandin and liljegren

Would the avs? I’d think this is very tempting

Having Makar with saad for 1 year then Makar for a long time is tempting. Too bad dubas is the negotiating gm whichmeans makar gets 10 million guaranteed. Guess Makar would want this deal to happen lol.

Yes nick was pre mature but his mom is short, his dad is average height and any photos I see of his family members everyone is either average or shorter.

My question is where did Jason get his size? He’s the odd one in family not Nick.
