I have thrown out deals before where it is based on Nylander to the Sens and Batherson is always coming back to the Leafs.
To me, Nylander is exactly the type of player Ottawa could use to compliment guys like Stutzle, Tkachuk, etc. They have tons of good young talent also developing and have the cap space for Nylander. I also think Nylander would thrive more on a team that already has a toughness element. Lots of 1 year vet deals on the Sens, so no issues re-signing their RFA's next year and bringing on Nylander.
Batherson is a player I have liked for a while and is just the type of forward the Leafs need. A deal around these two makes a ton of sense to me.

Sens
Nylander 6.96

Leafs
Batherson last year ELC
2021 2nd
2021 2nd SJ

Both teams get what they need including Toronto getting some cap space. Toronto will have to sign Batherson to a good raise, but the cap space created should allow them to do that and re-sign Hyman. Sens are not likely to help the Leafs get cap space right now (although they took Zaitsev), but sometimes if the deal makes too much sense, the may not let that get in the way.

Tkachuk would pick on Nylander. Beat him up in practice like he did his good buddy Logan Brown.

I can’t bring myself to think Ottawa would want Nylander.

I hope Robertson is ok. I didn’t watch the game last night, but I saw the replay. He went down pretty awkward.

I don’t know what to think. Everyone said he was going to get hurt. And he did. It could have happened to anyone. But it didn’t. It happened to Robertson.

I just hope he’s ok and didn’t sustain serious injury.

Yes Robertson is hurt because he was born prematurely.

The Sens are building an identity and I don't think Nylander fits that identity. He has talent, but absolutely no sandpaper. There are teams that would gladly add Nylander, but Ottawa is not one of them.
