If you wanted to move Freddie, it would likely take a team that is not confident in their current goalies, is in win now mode and their GM isn't afraid to make a big deal even if it may ne for one year of service. Sounds like Pitt and Jim Rutherford.

Andersen 5
Vesey .9
DeSmith 1.5
McCann 2.94

Of course the Leafs would have to be confident that a tandem of Campbell and DeSmith is good enough. They get a return for Freddie with both players coming back under contract and McCann is still a potential mid 6 forward who can play centre. Leafs get a little cap relief.

Pitt gets a really good tandem in Andersen and Jarry for another run at a Cup. They still need forwards, so they take on Vesey and see if playing for a team like Pitt turns his game around.

I like it

Well thought out and works for both teams.

I donโ€™t see a situation they move Freddie unless the wheels fall off and or Campbell gets a legit show at the number one spot.
