Keeping it rolling this weekend with the wild trades since its -52 outside, so here's another beaut! For the 2021 expansion/player draft floor(s).

So I'm letting Thornton and Spezza walk off into the sunset! Thanks for coming out b'ys!
Bogosain and Boyd cap savings cuts and also thanks for coming out.
Expansion Draft Protection list as follows
Tavares, Nylander, Marner, Mathews, Hymn, Kerfoot, Riley, Muzzin, Brodie and Andersen
Then at the expansion draft floor make these trades!

Nashville's 2nd round picks 2021 & 2022

Bottom line, draft defence with those picks and permanently move up Liljigren and Sandin. Live by the draft sword and die by the draft sword! Now that these trades are done and we're not watching them go bye bye to Seattle for nothing we move onto the player draft!
Assuming none of these player got picked up by Seattle.

I'm pretty sure I've kept it under the cap got some pick depth and never lost anything of real importance to the expansion draft beside our defensive depth. That said I did scoop 4/2nd round picks while only giving up 1/2nd round pick.
Anyway something to think about! Should start some new trade trends for the rest of this day.

I like your ideas very well thought out

I’ll only point out 1 thing. Unless Hyman and Andersen sign extensions before the expansion draft then no need to protect.

Other than that not bad at all.

I love the idea.

if the draft and develop model is so important to this organization then trust in it, stop blocking the path and progression of some of these guys, and let them contribute in a meaningful way.

Love Dermott and Holl both, but are they really going to be the better long term solution?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a long time to figure it out.
