So it's hard to make post at the moment due to Toronto being as deep and as good as I've ever seen! So I'll do something on the drafts. So to start the post the leafs win the cup! 2021 champs!

Expansion draft list
Mathews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Hymn, Kerfoot, Galchenyuk, Riley, Muzzin, Brodie and Andersen

Trade Dermot D, Brooks and 2nd round pick so Holl and Campbell stay put.

Tor gets
Patrick C

Philly gets
Kerfoot C
Hollowell D

Sign UFA's Hymn, Galchenyuk, Folingo, Andersen, Simmonds, Nash, Hutton and Bogosain

Lines
Hymn/Mathews/Marner
Galchenyuk/Tavares/Nylander
Robertson/Folingo/Patrick
Mikheyev/Engvall/Spezza
Extras: Nash & Simmonds

Riley/Brodie
Muzzin/Holl
Hutton/Bogosain
Extras: Sandin & Lilijigren

Andersen Sg
Campbell Bg

That's a great way to go for back to backs

You want Andersen? Dudes done, ride rittich and see if you want him next year, foligno is going back to Columbus, and you can sign your free agents after the expansion draft so you don't have to protect them.

I'm not sure Foligno goes back to CBJ. He came here to win a cup. He isn't doing that in CBJ next year or even the year after.

Leafs will most likely go 4 forwards, 4 def and 1 goalie for expansion draft
Mathews, JT, Nylander and Marner
Muzzin, Brodie, Reilly and Holl
Campbell

Hopefully sign Hyman after expansion draft
Be very surprised if the Leafs resign Anderson especially with salary cap

Leafs will most likely lose Dermott or Kerfoot in expansion draft.

If I’m the leafs I pay a pick or a prospect for Seattle to take Kerfoot I don’t see Andersen coming back unless he signs for a lot less than what he’s making.

I agree with the proposed protection list if no off-season deals are made first, which depending on our playoff outcome, may happen.

Seattle will have a few players to pick from, but I would think Dermott is most likely. A young D-man with a good amount of NHL experience that is going to be under $2M per to re-sign, should be an attractive piece.
