After we win the cup this year these are the Off-season moves to make at either draft.
Assume we loose Dermot in the expansion Draft. I would make these moves,
Andersen walks, Thornton retires, Simmonds walks and Nash walks. Then perform these trades

Tor gets
Patrick C/RW
Myers D

Philly gets
Nylander RW

Tor gets
Korpisalo G

Columbus gets
Kerfoot LW/C/RW
Woll G

Then sign these guys
Tor signs their UFA's Spezza, Folingo, Hymn, Galchenyuk and Hutton

Toronto's forward lines
Hymn/Mathews/Marner
Galchenyuk/Tavares/Patrick
Robertson/Folingo/Engvall
Mikheyev/Brooks/Spezza

Toronto's defensive lines
Riley/Brodie
Muzzin/Holl
Sandin/Myers

Toronto's Goalies
Korpisalo Sg
Campbell Bg

I think korpisalo has to have way more value than kerfoot.

Does it not feel that foligno has a foot out of the door already tho idk if he would come back unless we go deep as for the goalies there is a lot of quality goalies that can be had for cheap in free agency.

Korp is a player I can see Seattle taking and may not be available.
The Philly deal I would consider as it would help us cap wise and set us up well on D even if Rielly leaves. Jury is still out though if Patrick becomes any type of impactful NHL player. Willy's value will depend on his playoff performance this year. imo It is a risky trade, but may work our well.

Columbus protects Korp as Elvis is exempt from the draft as he has 2 or less years of nhl experience.

Philly only does this deal if ghost and Holl
are added to trade

Nothin too special here in these trades
Like u said “after we win cup”

If this becomes reality why on earth would you deal my boy Willy. Winning cup means MMT and Willy all stepped up to win. If any of those 4 don’t then no cup you will win.
Hate to break it to you nylander haters but no Willy step up no cup. Willy step up with other 3 you get cup thus now Willy is untouchable. Synonymous at its finest.

I don't necessarily agree He, if the rest of the team steps up you can still win a cup look at Tampa with no stankos all playoffs.

@JdB. I could be wrong, but I thought CLB has to expose Korp because he is the only goalie that qualifies in their system.
If Willy is so great, then how come we have to give them Holl and take Ghost off of their hands?

Mr.7th I agree with you in theory but by the way shanahan allows Dubas to make non risky moves this team is and will win based on the players we call the big 4. Yes they can win with a non pro forming nylander but the odds just aren’t there. It all 4 for 1 or nothing will become. Sorry but the odds aren’t on your side if you rely on past stars to excel these 4 from reaching their potential. Guess you’re a Dubas believer unlike myself

Research showed me that when it comes to goalies in this upcoming expansion draft that if a goalie has more than 2 years of North American pro experience (nhl or AHL) the team that goalie is on must decide to protect or expose him. However if a goalie has less than 2 years of experience in pro NA hockey is exempt automatically.

As per the rules though as long as a goalie is signed for the 2021-22 season or is an upcoming rfa for the upcoming season can officially be exposed.

So by the rules unless someone can correct me Columbus can protect kopi and Elvis is in fact officially protected as per the rules. Columbus also has 1 goalie from Latvia who meets the seasons played in pro NA requirements and is signed the 2021-22 season thus making him eligible to expose to Seattle in this draft.

Willy is my boy and I love him much more than any human should. However, on the reality of trades Philly needs to give up salary and ghost is the guy that they must give up

Value nylander gets this deal done. Money it doesn’t thus Philly convinces Dubas that Myers and former 2nd overall Patrick is worth taking on ghost. As a counter to offset salaries Holl becomes a casualty in this kind of deal unfortunately by nhl trade standard.

Agree to disagree it is what it is.
