See normally I would call this an overpayment from the Leafs pov but I guess its actually a lot closer then it seems. let's say Reilly = Jones (which I think is fair) . Does Jenner make up the difference between Marner and Bjorkstrand? Not really imo.

The second one however I think is a bit more understandable in terms of trade value and player production going both ways, but again I just don't see a reason for the Leafs to trade Nylander right now.

Hard to say if this team looks better. I think with the salary saved you can sign some other guys though so maybe.

I don’t mind this especially if it’s done after the expansion draft, would allow us to resign Hyman, and maybe we could get one of there goalies if we sweeten the pot.

Yes please, I will take trade number two or B however you look at it.
I have been yelling all year to get rid of those 3 knuckleheads and that close to $13 million for players who always say "I have to play better".

No rubbish for the money Wilber and (I am still mad they didn't make me Captain) Rielly.

@Parkgardens the hate on Rielly is unfounded. In a cap world players are judged on the salary they receive. Rielly at 5m is a steal.
