To Utah: Mitchell Marner, RFA rights to Liligren and Robertson

To Tor: Crouse, Durzi, 2nd Rd pick in 2025.

Seems like a low return for Toronto imo, unless there is no extension on Marner discussed.

@RLF I know everyone is expecting the sun and the moon for Marner but we aren’t going to his value when everyone knows he could get him next year for free. I think a top 6 F (style player we need) and a Top 4 D who plays with passion and could resign for a good cap hit plus a Utah 2nd (which is pretty much a 1st. This gives us cap space to go out get what we want in Free Agency and some good draft picks to use as trade capital. Yes I’m assuming they would want an extension in place but we would want that too with Durzi.

Clarky. I see what you are saying, but I can't see where in my trades mentioning Marner for instance, I'm expecting the sun and moon.
I'm not sure Durzi holds a lot of value though. I just think since you added Robertson and Liljegren it seems like a big win for Utah.

Well we don’t need or have use for Robertson or Lily. So whether they go in this trade or another just thought that would help get us that Utah 2nd. Utah fans love Durzi. Solid RHD that will put up points and play top 4. He is young but has to get off that crappy team. I believe he is a local boy too. We all know what Crouse can bring for us. Those two with pretty much 1st rd pick. I don’t see them getting better value than that and still save us $ for the cap to go get Roy or Montour.

Everyone wants value back for marner how bout just getting his cap space back on the books and using it to sign 2 quality top four right shot dmen.
