Liljegren is just learning to play he is a right hand shot and only 25 years of age. This will be his breakout season

Lol what? Lily has barely any value because he isn’t very good. He is 25 and RHD, that is his only upside.

I've been hearing "Lilly has so much upside" for almost a decade now. I used to agree, but the closer he gets to 30 the more qe need to accept him for what he is.

Liljegren is a good, 3rd pairing right hand defenseman.
He may never be more but he is still valuable.
$3M is a little much for a 3rd pairing defender in my opinion but I would not be trading him for a mid round pick with a 25% (or less) chance of ever playing in the NHL.
