I like the trade but not sold on Lilly being moved I thought he had a good playoff and like to see what a new contract does for him so maybe a trade deadline deal if he sucks again lol but what I’ve heard is he worked his butt off this summer and potentially make 3million look like steel.

Liljegren looks like he is going to be a bottom pairing D-man who makes $3M (too much for bottom pairing with our cap structure) . Kesselring is one year younger, $1.4M AAV and a 6'5" RHD all day everyday (Tre type of Dman) . I would do this trade-off in a heartbeat.
Then of course, McBain another big boy who gets over 250 hits per year, plays physical, PK's and can easily replace Kampf at 4C.
I added Robertson to hopefully make this trade a bit more enticing for Utah.
I think this is a win/ win trade for the Leafs, just not sure if Utah goes for it.
