I would sooner trade Jarnnok . Leafs have 3 aging defenders Tanev Larsson Hakanpaa so I would expect injuries so I hang onto Liljegren

Raf and myers have out played lily pad this preseason no need to keep him around what so ever he’s awful and 3 mil for a 7th defensman is real smart….

I can see your point as the price rises on certain players it’s better to get younger and cheaper players in

12 months from now it’s interesting to see where Leafs are at.

Domi Tavares Nylander

Lorentz Kampf Reaves

Pacioretty extra forward

Next year Marner probably isn’t back because you have Minton and Cowan sure to make Leafs next season

What got to Cowan this camp was a bad case of nerves.

Columbus needs salary in so from that stand point the team is a good target. I was thinking about Johnson for a return .5 a game player centre position maybe
Jarn and Kempf get it done. If not draft picks are good too.

This is the best team the leafs had to open season ever. This team is better than the 91-92 or 92-93 Leafs. So really this is the best Leaf team in the last 50 years anyway.

Also the Leafs will be able to add a great piece or two at the trade deadline

I’m with you this team is the best we’ve had!
However I’m not so sure the same old load up at the deadline is what this leafs need I think that actually worked against them, messes up chemistry guys need to learn to play together too quickly so I think those chips need to go now.
