Lol if they want to make that deal I'm all for it. I don't see it happening though. While we at it I'll take Aho, Pesce and teravainen for Marner.

Dubas hasn't been leashed by shanny much this far but I seriously doubt the shanaplan involves signing Marner for 11m/ 3yrs. That actually seems like the most lucritive contract in the NHL when you involves term and I mean by a lot lmao.


On a flip not though. I do think CBJ offering Marner the 12.5/ 7yrs they "apparently" were willing to give him may have Marner thinking he's Gretzky 2.0 in some ways.

So sick of me calling out this wishfull thinking. Its more like delusion. If you don't want me to call out bad trades then start offering value. Also it doesn't hurt to stick to the value of postion, team needs and contractual value. I get that marner got 26 goals and a crap ton of asssist and secondary assists. He is a winger who doesn't score 40+ goals. with his contractual demand, position and CBJ's team needs taken into consideration, he is just not anywhere near jones value. Like i said blues wouldn't trade parayko for him. I polled all blues fans on the asylum and only 2 out of about 50 would trade parayko for marner. So i think it is time to start bring your expectations down a few notches.

Funny how RedWing starts talking value of the position. Keller didn’t even get 20 goals last year and had 47 points. Tavares has more goals than Keller had points. Is Keller a 1C? On Arizona yes. On Toronto, No. Keller is a 3C in Toronto, and any other team not named Arizona. Is Chychrun a top 4 d? On Arizona, yes. On Toronto, no.

See, Leafs aren’t trading Marner for a 1C and top 4 d. We are trading Marner for a 3C and bottom pairing d. Simple as that.

Its been that way since I joined in 2007. There is a huge blues following. Always has been. They call it the asylum because we all must be crazy to be such die hard blues fans. LOL its actually because we have some crazy peeps in there. I would count my self as one of them.

Just wish st. louis winning cup would of raised the cap

Projections during 1st round were 83-85 million

Then winnipeg, calgary and toronto exit and once the smoke cleared the cap was 81.5

Fan base or not st. louis winning a cup didn't move the cap meter.
