Toronto trades Petan, Gauthier, Holl
To
Montreal for 3rd, 5th and 6th draft picks in 2020 or 2021

Frees up about 3 million in cap space.

Could probably get Ben Hutton ufa for one year at 2.5 to 3 million

More depth for defense

I think a 3rd is a little high for players who essentially roster fill in guys but 6th and 7th round picks would be better than just placing them on waivers.

These types of players were never centerpieces in anyones deal. They were simply throwins to make room on the roster for guys being traded for. guess if that is considered humor then hilarious.

I agree with Craigger. Trolls should be given only as much respect as they give our players and the regular contributors. Which in this case, is none.
