Kind of a roster shake up probably wouldn't see this kind of trade in season but definitely something to think about if your the leafs with Sandin coming and Dermott there's a chance that the leafs won't be able to resign Reilly

No. In fact hell no. Sandin isn't ready to play 1LHD and neither is Dermott. This is 2-3 years away from being a reality and even then just a maybe.

Who said they would have to hanafin is a lhd Reilly to me has had the hardest time since keefe took over hasn’t really looked good I’m not saying hanafin is the answer but if the leafs don’t make it past the first round I wouldn’t be surprised if they shake things up and maybe move Reilly you got to be open and willing to move guys if it’s not working.

I would be floored if Reilly is moved. He makes far less than he should based on the rest of the boys. Reilly came into this season with people expecting him to score 30 goals and have 100 points. He is still on Pace for 50+ points. As a defenceman what's your issue with that? Reilly probably won't be resigned in 3 years but that is 3 years away. You want to trade everyone 3 years in advance? Insane.

I would rather have Reilly than virtually any other defenseman in the league still. Having seen him develop into the superstar that he is today I don’t think Leafs ever trade him. They will trade Nylander before Reilly. Of that I’m sure.

I’m not looking at points we have all the offence we need we need defence can’t score your way out of every game you’re just not going to be successful that way Reilly would fetch a really good dman in my opinion obviously it probably won’t happen but if the get beat out of the first round or miss the playoffs there’s going to be changes made to the lineup.

You keep saying defence. You never answer my question. If a defensive dman is brought in does he fit this system well? And if you believe so why? Also, out of every D the leafs have Reilly is the second best (to Muzzin) Defensively. Your upgrading his defence at a cost of his talent with the puck when he's already good in his own zone. Barrie and Ceci are the liabilities in there own end. At least Barrie can score though.

A Reilly trade would have to be something like Werenski, Anderson, 1st or I would never do it.
