Move Barrie and ceci for picks

I've been preaching for a few weeks now that Toronto needs to get a stay at home d and after that brutal game last night it kinda proved my point I'm sorry but Barrie makes me miss Gardiner idc if Barrie puts up 60 pts the guy can't play defence plain and simple keefe needs to rein him in and remind him that he's a defencemen and not a forward this team as it sits is a boarder line playoff team we have too many skilled forwards up front so to me it makes sense to use some of our assets to improve the team as a whole we need a backup that can be a difference maker the rangers want to move Gorgiev so a useful top 6 forward with term and a decent prospect should work the Columbus trade is basic savard is a steady blue line play who can make plays at both ends of the ice Anderson has not performed well this year and has injury issues but when healthy can be a nice gritty forward all in all the leafs have time to correct this but it's got to be now can't wait till the deadline because it could be too late by then.

You can move ceci for your picks. Why is any team going to take his contract on. He doesn't help any team get better. Please explain.

No one will give you anything for Ceci. You pay people to take him.

Probably better just to package Ceci into the Columbus deal and send Barrie somewhere. One thing I will give Barrie as much as I dislike him, if Reilly gets hurt and is out for the whole playoffs, Barrie can run the PP. No other defenceman will be able to as well.

With Barrie on that top pp I’m more scared because Short handed goals become a lot easier against a guy who is not a very strong d man anyone can play the dish man up top tbh I like Reilly a lot more in that role Barrie just shoots more.

Barrie got caught twice last night. I’m really hoping Keefe re-thinks this whole defensemen are forwards thing. Dermott played just as bad as Barrie last night too. I like Dermott, but if he is going to be reckless then he’s not what we need. My guess is Sandin will pass him on the depth chart before the end of the season and we see Dermott as our 7th defenseman warming the bench most nights.
