Frost is highly rated in the Flyers system and has progressed a lot since his draft year. There is no way he and a competent top 4 defenseman go for a 3rd liner and a 3rd pairing dman. I like dermott and johnsson a lot, but i think the value isn't quite equal. we might have to add a little here. good target in sandheim!

Let say you add a Korshkov or a Brooks with the Dermott, Johnsson and Brooks

for
Sanheim and Frost.

Interesting nobody complained about Kerfoot for Jarnkrok.

Adam Brooks had 120 and 130 points in his last two years of Junior. And Brooks numbers at the AHL level are just as good.

Frost has a lot of talent, but I'm not holding my breath in him to be a star just yet. He will likely be a good middle six player in the 40-50 point range, but I don't think he will be much better than Kapanen, who was also a 1st round draft pick. Of course this trade was for Johnsson, but he was hurt last year, so I substituted the closest thing we had on the team that made sense. Personally, I'd rather keep Kapanen (Johnsson) right now then trade him for Frost. You draft a player in Frost's spot and would be ecstatic he turns into a player like Kapanen. Because the average player drafted late first round, like Frost was, is a lot worse than Kapanen.
