Honestly don't think it's quite enough to get Trouba but maybe if we add a bit I'm not sure. You guys can help me out on that but lines going into. next year look like this assuming we resign Spezza and Clifford and mikhev all should be relatively cheap one year contracts.

Dermott Lehtonen

Defence looks a lot better as we all know that dermott can handle other teams bottom two lines as he can pretty much handle others teams second maybe first lines. Muzzin and Holl is a good shutdown paring and Riley and Trouba should score a lot while being good in their own end as Trouba is a big body at 6"3 205 pounds.
Thoughts?

Adding dermott and kerfoot and subtracting malgin and 2nd

Cap and value might be closer now but who really knows?

Not sure if disgruntled Trouba is the answer. He seems like a dick that refuses to play in Canada. How long after this trade before he demands to be traded back state side?

i'd rather be targeting Theodore and Pullock…. but that would be at the expense of Rielly (to Wild) and Marner (to Isles) . definitely not enough to get Trouba…. and I also don't want his attitude in locker room.

I didn’t even know he had attitude problems but now that I know that I don’t want him on our team but we need someone to play with Riley.

I would hope that the Leafs steer clear from Trouba as he hasn't shown he is worth his big, long term contract. He's also wouldn't lift his NMC to leave NY.

Seriously though, I don't see Trouba waving his NMC either and it turns out the Jets fleeced them.

I would be willing to bet Rangers would take this deal just so that they could dump Trouba right now. At some point they have to make a decision. Trouba, Fox, or DeAngelo. If Trouba doesn't get real good again, real fast, the. I would hazard to say it's Trouba that will be traded.
