So back to hockey for 2020, first exhibition game and where is Nylander, a ghost, cherry picking for a pass fly by the corners because he doesn't forecheck or fight for the puck. Columbus will eat him alive and you guys want to keep him. What a joke. 7 million for a cherrypicker is ridiculous. It was bad enough watching Gretzky stand at center ice game after game we don't need another guy like that in the league especially on the leafs!

At the draft, Toronto please trade Nylander for picks or a good rhd.

Maybe Nylander, Dermont and Johnsson to Los Angeles for Matt Roy, and the 2nd overall pick in this years draft

What's with the Nylander hate? I find myself defending Nylander constantly. The funny thing is I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch lol. Just every fan and all media seem to some to hate on him.

It was done game, a "pre-season" game at that lol and we are straight back to the Nylander bashing.

If you actually break it down, Nylander is the most underpaid leaf. Base on goals/ points per dollar of production. This city just seems to love to hate on the guy.

I didn't think they played well either. Not our top lines anyway. We got good support from our depth, but all in all is was a lazy affair.

The only hit I can remember is the one Muzzin laid on some guy I don't remember his name. It was his first NHL game though. Maybe Leafs should take note. Small kid playing his first NHL game of any sort and he gets leveled and does the return to play.

Sounds exactly like what everyone thinks is going to happen to Robertson.

Idk what everyone was expecting here it’s the first “somewhat” competitive game in 4 months they are not going to be at a level they were when the season stopped.

Tavares has really good chemistry with Mikheyev. The Matthews line of Hyman-Matthews-Marner had great chemistry during the regular season. I think the obvious spot for Nylander is on 2RW beside Tavares. Not sure why Keefe switched them back.

But ya you can’t base it off one game lol. What a terrible way to judge a player.

It’s so funny how people can hate on Nylander. Name one team that had every single person working constantly in the corners and grinding it out. You think point or Kucherov does this. Or Pasternak, ya didn’t think so, and the fact that Nylander put up good amount of points and goals this year and you want him gone makes me sick your a leaf fan. How bout u actually watch the games and not the highlights. But nice try.
