Murray has been linked to Toronto for a bit now. Main reason is they must have something in the water to keep finding better and better goalies. If they trade one of Jarry or Murray they still have a great prospect in the waiting who is probably ready for a backup role.

All that said, they don't want to trade for yet ANOTHER goalie especially an older one, who has never had the same success and is a rental making 5/ yr. It makes zero sense.

People post the Freddy for Murray all the time and it honestly makes zero sense. In order for a trade of goalies to happen Dubas would need to convince Rutherford to take a worse, more expensive, older, rental goalie just to be a pal. It's just never going to happen and is why certain trolls love to rip leafs fans posts.

Even Johnson has zero value in this trade. Your sending them an older left wing for a younger Left wing who is signed longer and only one year removed from being a 40 goal scorer.
