At first glance it looks like not a great trade but Letang at 33 still puts up solid numbers and fits the leafs style of play his contract is up same time as Reilly's so it gives them money to resign Reilly

I'd then move Andersen johnsson and maybe ever Kerfoot and sign Hamonic

We take on more money for an aging defenceman who has had injury problems his whole career and get a goalie coming off a really bad season for our best trade chip and solid D prospect, plus give them a 2nd.

At first glance it doesn’t look like a very good trade. And after reading it again and thinking about it some more, I agree. It’s not a very good return at all. We get much older and injury prone, and lose Letang in two years, while taking a risk on Murray. I think Leafs can find a lower risk option that would pay off just as much for them with what you are suggesting we trade here.

I look at the numbers Letang puts up every player gets hurt that’s part of the game but also as I stated the contract shows that he’s up same year Reilly is then the leafs get 7.5 in cap to resign Reilly I guess I’m just trying to post different trade other than the same 5 trades.

Dont like the idea of signing Hamonic. first he did want to play in the west and 2nd. although i am fine from a humanitarian side with him staying home for his family due to the virus i do have to say i would be disapointed a little as a fan that he bailed on his team.
