Both LA and the NYR need LHD rather then RHD. The rangers can also use the puck they get from Toronto to draft Schneider which gives them another LHD prospect who plays more of a defensive game, which will help compensate for DeAngelo's and Trouba's more offensive style.

I honestly think with a weird season that it would be better for Robertson to play one more year in the OHL before making the jump. We can figure out which of Hyman, Mikheyev, and Jarnkrok we want to keep after next season is over.

It's just the last thing we want to do right now is rush Robertson, especially with a flat cap where we need guys on cheap deals. I think he does need to work on his skating a little bit anyway, but all other aspects of his game are good.

Just because a guy isn’t 6’10 270lbs doesn’t mean he sucks. It’s leaf fans like you that I can’t stand because if a guy isn’t big then you think they aren’t a proper option.

Then you want to target guys like Manson and Larsson who have had terrible seasons but because they are big all of a sudden their the perfect option for the leafs.

I’m sorry my team doesn’t fit your vision, but that defence core would be one of the best the leafs have ever had. The point is to make the team better, not just to target a big player who can only hit but otherwise stands there like a pylon.

Schenn isn’t doing too bad in Tampa. He’s averaging over 10:00 a night in the playoffs this year. If they won, he will have honestly have played a real part in their success. Good for him. I always had a bit of a soft spot for him. Glad to see him finally have some success. I hope he becomes the next ex-Leaf to win a cup.

Schneider being drafter doesn't help immediately though. I thinks that's Dubas issue.

Unless you trade Liljigren+ dermott for immediate help and hope Schneider works out. If Schneider is available at 15 because I'm not sure if he will be.

If lesfs keep the pick and take schneider i hope they use a firth round pick on chad nychuk. they put the two together in final month of 2018-19 season and seemed to work. They played all year this past season together and both players stats and play really improved. why mess up a good tandem.

Also ya LeafsLife that’s another Thing. I would see Florida or Edmonton possibly picking him up as they both probably need defence in the future. But it totally depends on who they want I guess.

It’s not that I’m saying small is bad but we already have Reilly dermott Sandin Liljegren that are all smaller guys the play an offensive style game and that’s the same for the guys you are wanting to bring in the leafs need toughness not more offence.
