Hall will certainly sign for more than $7M per year, give your head a shake. He was the league MVP about 2 year ago. I'm pegging him at $10M per year.

I don't think Nashville does this; Marner's contract is a little much and I don't think he's worth what he's making? Albeit, Ellis would be a fantastic addition for sure.

At 1.12 ppg and people saying he had bad year i'd prefer 23 year old overpaid marner who will improve close to that contract. Meanwhile ellis by year 3-4 will regress and his contract will be a boat ancher. I've just come to appreciate the player without caring about the money. It is what it is and in 2-3 years when all the superstars of today are signing even more ridiculous contracts than marners but at age 27-29 instead of marner did at 22 leafs will be glad they have him.

Hall is a hated teammate. It's coming out more all the time how much his teammates dislike him. I would rather keep Marner even though I don't want Marner at his hit either.
