We Acc clear cap by making these moves and gives us money to sign a guy like Tanev. Including the 3 mill we saved from Kapanen trade and we save about 3 mill by doing this. So we have 6 mill to sign Tanev. Hopefully he doesn't ask for too much more. Or if he only wants 5 mill we can use the money to sign Mikheyev and Spezza. Mikheyev prob will sign a one year one mill prove urself deal and Spezza will sign for around 850k

Based on recent rumours I don't see it taking that much lol. He isn't Mathews or Mcdavid. He's a rental+ with some ok stats. Parayko is a solid player but he isn't amazing lol.

The only 2 dmen that i recall ever got this kind of package for their services where chris pronger and erik karlsson. are you really putting parayko at their level. Parayko hasn't ever even got a norris vote let alone multiple norris nominees and winners.

Even shattenkirk at time of his trade to washington was a guy who at least got norris votes and was considered top 10 offensive dman in league. He didn't even get this kind of package.

Parayko is good but look to brady skjei deal as a comparison for what st. louis may get. Even the likes of Faulk and Trouba deals are comparables. All these deals came with a guarenteed extensions. Parayko can't even talk extension till next summer so your dealing for 2 years of him with hope of resigning. yes he will fetch 1 of the 3 prospects, 2020 1st and a roster dump like Holl or johnsson.

stop thinking of parayko as your next pronger until he at least gets a damn norris vote. just 1.

I did know that. no matter what the excuse is my point is valid. most players play for more than 1 team. the more you keep coming up with excuses to justify anything blues related the less convincing your statements become.

Rielly is younger, his contractis for less cap hit, his contract is same term and he gets norris votes. He was also top 5 norris votes just 24 minths ago. i'm pretty sure his value is higher than parayko plus he is considered a better dman. Did parayko even get invited to the under 25 north american team let aline be the top pairing on it. Has Parayko even been in an allstar game or represented Canada in world jr and sr championships? Has he ever cracked 70 points? 20 goals? I can go on but i think if most of these answers are no then you really should reavaluate what parayko is truly worth

yes parayko was invited and yes he played top pairing. Parsyko is the better dman he just doesn't get a huge amount of points due to his deployment. But he has a cup and is by far the better definsive dman. Lol.
