I'm guessing in this situation it means markstrom was resigned. If he is then they probably don't mind that return. Bracco is a throw away but could still be ok. Woll could fit in as a tandem in a few years and Dermott being the main piece works out. Hard to say what the return on goalies is though. So up in the air.

Looks like a bit of an overpay to me for ekblad. I would take the first out. Nylander is still a 30 goal scorer. Has to be worth close in value.

Man that canes trade has me at a loss. I'm not sure whether it's an overpay or not. Canes get the goalie they want and 2 good prospects. Leafs get pesce. A year ago I say canes want that for pesce alone. After his surgery though? Who knows. Who even knows what he looks like going forward.

Ekblad is a weird one. Normally I agree that ekblad is worth far more but after the Kapanen+ for ekblad rumours I'm not sure. Of course that was dumb ass Tallon though.
