Trade Kerfoot though the Leafs would b fortunate to get more then a mid round pick. Sign Soderberg or. Brassard for less then 2 mill.

Bargain hunting is pretty well over now. Your not finding another Kerfoot either. Bargain hunting right now is older guys taking one year deals.

I’m writing you’ll be surprised how good vesey and kerfoot will be together. Tske kerfoot away and vesey will not be a bargain sitting in press box.
Kerfoot will drop 50-60 pts this year. Vesey will net 20 tailgating kerfoot.
You’ll miss kerfoot when Thornton spezza and anyone Leafs get on a “bargainâ€

"Something is wrong" there alright. your GM has spent you into cap hell, and no amount of bargain contracts for old players are going to help this team win a playoff series.
Kerfoot ≠a 2nd round pick. Kerfoot + 2nd round pick = 7th round pick.
Salary dumps are expensive. This isn't fantasy hockey.

He isn't a cap dump. He just isn't worth a second right now. He's probably worth a 3rd-4th which your better off just keeping Kerfoot for.
