Tor: Hyman rights amirov

So I saw a rumour or an article suggesting that Edmonton is so high on Hyman and I think it was Dreger that said he wouldn't be surprised if holland didn't trade for hymans rights so I did some looking jimmy vessey got a 3rd for his rights so I think Hyman is atleast worth that but we add a top prospect to get Holloway which from everything that I've read he is a younger Hyman. My thought is why not try and take a shot at getting something for him if you know he's not coming back

Why would you give up Amirov?
If Holland is crazy about Hyman and wants his rights simply get what you can. Leafs are not signing him so no need to add!

This is ridiculous. Holloway was taken 1 pick ahead of Amirov. So basically you are giving Hyman's rights away for nothing. I'd rather just take a mid range pick. Maybe the teams swap the prospects, but EDM also send a mid range pick, maybe a 4th.

If the Oilers want Hyman’s negotiation rights they will offer something which we do not have now!

@L1994. I figured that was your goal and not so much about Hyman. If you truly beleive that Holloway is enough better than Amirov, then it's a good move. Although I wouldn't base it on just "his numbers" though. You need to really feel he is the better player and will be the more impactful NHLer.
