I actually agree. I don't think scoring will be the issue forever. You don't need a whole lot more on offence and if you do, then fire Dubas. He's committed so much to 4 guys who score that if they aren't it's his fault.
I like Holl to much. Maybe even to n irrational point but he was hands down the most consistent all year (other than Brodie) . I wouldn't trade him.
Oleksiak I'm not against but wouldn't pay that much.
If Bogo and Janmark sign for that I'm good with it but I think Dubas looks cheaper for a 3C.

That’s the thing tho the market for 3rd line centers is around 4-4.5 mil and by looking at who the leafs have been connected to they are looking for the two way forwards the top 4 need guys up front need to be leaned on more meaning they are going to have to play with lesser guys like Robertson and galchenyuk.

@L1994. Kadri was at that here and moved to Colorado where he is a 2nd line C. Which teams have 3rd line centres making $4-$4.5M?

Kadri was not moved because of his cap hit it was his suspensions in the playoffs.

Btw just to name a few teams who’s 3C make 4+ mil
Tampa Boston Carolina St. Louis Islanders these teams have all seen far more success than Toronto centers are costly.

@Leafs1994. Yes, those 5 do have 3C over $4M. That is 5 of 31 teams. 16% of teams is hardly the going rate. I would have to think you looked into a bit to come up with these 5. None of those teams have their top 2 centres coming even close to equaling a $22.6M cap hit either. We can get a 3C cheaper than Kerfoot's $3.5M, but Dubas will have to put some work in.
