@Randy I don't think the team your icing is better than the current team unless you have some follow up moves.

Last I heard Hyman was willing to take 5 million but he wants more than 5 years. He's 30 and this is his last chance. You might even be able to get 4.75 on an 8 year deal but I don't see 5/ 5.

The leafs did offer Hyman 8 years but I’m guessing the aav was closer to 4 mill.

@Leafs1994 last I heard Dubas wouldn't go past 5 years. That was the sticking point. But who knows.

That's pretty much it right now. Hyman was a major factor and he's gone, Chucky wasn't the best player on the team but he was better than I expected. If he's gone that hurts too. Mikheyev is not a top 6 forward.

No LW depth at all, no C depth anymore beyond the top 2 line, I'm not sure what you do if an injury happens right now. If Tavares is out for 3 months in the regular season your probably a lottery team in this division.
