Boston needs better bottom 6 players and Leafs need some cost effective le.

So

Leafs : debrusk
Boston :engval, mikheyev, maybe a 4th in 2023

Then the Leafs sign one of galchenyuk, Tatar, or Marcus Johannson .

Lw depth is then

Debrusk
Tatar
Bunting
Robertson

It's not great but this is the best you can do when your gm mismanages your cap and trades away all your depth.

I wouldn't trade Mikheyev. He's going to be an important PK guy without Hyman.

I like going after Debrusk as well though. He's not my dream addition but at this point it's like I tell my kids; you get what you get and you don't get upset.

Good points LL. I was thinking with the addition of kampfe who’s supposed to be a pk specialist perhaps it’s makes mikey movable.

Let’s just hope we do something about the lw depth because it’s embarrassing to look at currently lol.
