Arz: kessel 50% retained

Or move one or both engvall or mikhyev and sign big z

Kessel in our top six would be wild we saw what he did here when he had no one to play with yes he's not the same player but still scores goal the other idea is bringing in another brute he still can play and averaged over 18 minutes a game last year so on a bottom pairing I think he'd be fine and he's a better more reliable option if someone goes down

Because he is only owed 1 million 50% only costs Arizona 500k and since they are so far from cap taking on 4 million cap isn’t a big deal.

Kerfoot owed 750k this year isn’t a huge deal but his 2.7 next year Arizona might not like.

Mikhayev is owed 2.19 this yes. Arizona may not like thst either

As much as I’d love to see Kessel back I don’t think this deal does it as Arizona isn’t in the buisness of taking on extra salary and this deal makes them take on 2.44 this year and 2.7 next.

Have you not watched their off season lol …. And Arizona could also just as well flip these guys I’m not saying they would want kerfoot of mikhyev but they are players to fill their roster so the don’t have to rush prospects.

Vancouver deal 105.5 out 24.2 in overall

20.475 out 14.1 in this year

So Arizona like I said is in the buisness of getting rid of salary not take on salary. If they do take on more salary in a deal expect 1st and 2nds to go to them as well

The deal I like but just don’t see Arizona needing to do it as Kessel is a cost savings player salary wise for what he does and his cap hit helps Arizona so why would they just let him go.
