Yes. You would be correct. Muzzin is a third-pairing defenceman at best. Overpaid he reminds me of Dion Phaneuf without the offence. Very slow in his start/ stop gaps. Only value he has is in laying out hits in the D-Zone.

He isn't an offensive guy but he anchors the blue line whenever he's on the ice. He doesn't even hit a whole tonne anymore like he used too. What are you on about here?

I was trying to figure this one out, some of the most effective defenseman don’t go end to end. It’s been rare that I’ve seen a goal and blamed muzzin for it. Where as Dion, well I think I may have blamed him for some goals he wasn’t even on the ice for.

Yeah. Muzzin is an anchor alright. Taking down the defence. A $5.4 million player who is not worth more than $4 million at best. I can find about 20 examples of goals against that could be blamed on both Muzzin and Holl. They are a bunch of slow, stiff pylons that have to go. Muzzin always finds an excuse to get injured in the playoffs.

Subban is an average player at best now. Have zero interest in him, let alone on the top pairing.
