Leafs trade Mrazek Richie Dermott and 1st 2022

Nashville trades Forsberg

This gets rid of the two Lemmon signings leafs made in offseason. Woll is good enough to play backup. Now I do get if he Campbell gets hurt we are in a world of hurt. But I roll the dice with Campbell and he needs to be extended.

Richie just inst going to cut it. This is as close as leafs have been to a cup since the big 4 were put in place. I'm more than happy to lose the first rounder to take a big chase for the cup.

You have said why Toronto would do it, but not why Nashville would. I don't see Nashville having much use for Mrazek or Ritchie. They don't need more goalies or size up front. Dermott is a useful player, but I am not sure who he pushes out of their lineup if he does, so he is a 5-7 for them. That leaves the 1st being the prize for the Preds. They will get way more than this for Forsberg if they decide to sell him off imo.
