San Jose is in a corner they can't take him back in San Jose. Players absolutely hate him

Dubas is going for it Kane may put leafs over the top

To be honest I don't know if San Jose have the 2.5 million in can space to take on Richie. But if they don't the deal can be tweaked a little to make it work.

you aren't going down to Campbell and Woll in net. Also. the players in SJ hate Kane. so why would you subject the Leafs to having him around? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Woll has played good for the leafs but if Campbell goes down in the playoffs do you really want to rely on him if mrazek stays healthy leafs could move him in the offseason lots of teams looking for goaltending but cross that bridge when you get there.

@L1994. The other side of that coin is - knowing how fragile Mrazek has been health wise, do you really want to count on him being able to stay healthy and carry the heavy load of a playoff run should Campbell get hurt?
