I think our top to lines are finally playing well together...Bunting seems to be adjusting his game to how to play with Matthews and Marner and kerfoot looks fine on the Taveres line....time to work on the bottom six so that there is less roster changes.
To Leafs:
Appleton
Lauzon
To Kraken:
Robertson
Dermott
1st rd pick 2022
Appleton is a hard working player and would be great on 3rd line...maybe even bumped up to second next year if we have to clear Kerfoot...Lauzon becomes cheaper version to rotate with Sundin and Liljegren on the bottom pairing and both Sundin and Liljegren might tire with all the hockey....added a first cause i read somewhere Seatle was thinking of sending Appleton to Bruins for Debrusk...if need be add either Engvall or Mikheyev and then we can get Ho-Sang up later if he keeps playing well

I would be surprised if it cost that much to get Appleton and Lauzon. Like the idea though of those two players though.
To me, Kerfoot should get you both players. He was on their radar, is having a very good season and is signed for another year. Both Appleton and Lauzon need new deals.

@RLF thanks. Kerfoot might. i did capfriendly after and Mikheyev might put us over the cap. so maybe include him and down grade the 1st i put in. as i usually over give seeing as we are pursuing the players. You are correct both will need new deals but figure Appleton might get what Kase makes who i dunno if we will be able to sign him to what he has and Lauzon should not cost that much either. i know a lot of people love to include Kerfoot but they are playing so well together right now. and honestly after seeing what he did in that one game where he could have cashed in on the empty net but instead passed to Nylander who can score at will tells ya something about the player. good team guy. he does not score often yet still chose to dish it to Willy. Kerfoot may have to go next next along with Mrazek.

Kerfoot has been playing very well on the second line. Hard to argue that. I have him in proposals because I don't think we can keep him past this season. You may get Appleton and Lauzon to sign combined for less than what Kerfoot's cap hit is. I think that is the type of deal the Leafs will have to make.

@RLF. i agree. definately a deal like this they have to make. tired of seeing these KHL huys come in and get shipped out or guys from the marlies that are not ready/ unproven like Robertson. i get he has skill but he is small and seems injury prone. we need guys that can stay in bottom 6.Bunting is an example now who is finally adjusting his game to Matthews and marner. is Appleton can do the same on the LW on 2nd line that would be awesome. leave the offense to JT and WIlly. just get him to work at getting the puck. worst case is he is a good cheap NHL player for 3rd line once we sign him next season.

Robertson and Dermot are better than Appleton and Larson.
Appleton is not having the kind of year with the Kraken that he had last year with the Jets.
Larson is physical but not a great skater.
Why would the Leafs add any draft pick let alone a 1st round pick?
I can’t make sense of this suggestion.

@waterbuffalo. maybe you can't make any sense of it cause you think i am trying to get Larson. i suggested Lauzon. so i am sure that is why you are confused. Appleton played great with Jets. have not followed the Kraken much but who is having a good season there on an expansion team. but him on a good team and i bet he bounces back. plus he was hurt for a while and just came back so that might be a factor. now my wanting Lauzon is cause he is 24,and cheaper than having Dermott as part of 3 man rotation on bottom pair D, might be able to keep Sundin and Liljegren in lineup more to find out what they can handle. the 1st is cause i am not sure what Kraken value those 2 players at so i tend to over pay. but then guys like you say i overpay. if i don't add it i am told it's not enough. if it is not needed then great.
