To Toronto
Scott Mayfield $1.45M (2 yrs UFA), 29 yo

To NYI
Travis Dermott $1.5M (2 yrs RFA), 24 yo

Leafs get solid big defensive top 4 RHD who has plenty of playoff experience.

NYI get a young versatile Dman who is cost controlled and 5 years younger.

Islanders are looking for LD from what I understand.
Holl has 10 team M-NTC, not sure if Islanders are one of those teams . plus why would Islanders take Holl?

Dermott has more upside and is much younger. He would probably interest Islanders more into making this trade.

If they are interested in Dermott, it's a good idea. Although I think the Leafs are adding as Mayfield is a regular NHL defender and Dermott is not.

I fine with adding a 2023 4th or 5th
round pick . whatever it takes.
I believe Mayfield would help solve our top 4 RHD situation at a reasonable cost.

Holl is in decline nearly 30 years old this is end of his leaf career. I’m happy for him he made a big of money 6 million or so last 3 years so it’s ok. See ya later mr holl.

Just turn him into a draft pick. Create cap space should be leafs focus

When they make a move at deadline it must be strong move. It can’t be a Foligno type move. Leafs need defender 2nd pairing and 3rd line left winger.
