To me Connor brown back with the leafs makes a lot of sense he's played with this core already and had success he also played under keefe in keefes first year with the Marlies as for the sens they need centre's kerfoot isn't the best centre but he's betting than what they got throw in a prospect to make the dollars work. The Islanders deal is the leafs getting a cheap top four rhd 6'5 shutdown guy in return the leafs send Lou dermott who could benefit from a change in scenery he's not going to get a chance for top four minutes with the leafs the leafs throw in an ex devil Lou loves them

Town makes way too much money I thought send were nuts to pay that . But they had no talent lots of cap space so it didn’t matter. But Leafs can’t use brown at nearly 4 million and Ottawa isn’t eating half of his contract unless Leafs way over pay.

He’s not overpaid he plays all special teams and put up multiple 20 goal years on a bad sens team so if you think brown is overpaid so is kerfoot.
