Don’t like Boeser who always seems to be injured.
Also he is very hot and cold with little to no consistency to his game.
Also I can’t see Canucks ever parting with Hughes.

No chance you get Makar for anything less than Mathews. Even then, they don't really need Marner or Mathews as much as Makar.

Certainly every player has a price, and yes price maybe a little lower or higher as with any trade proposal.

As for Boeser on avg. a 50 pt a season guy, certainly far from done. Good hands and vision for the game, along with being only 25 years old. Yes some injury issues playing an avg. of 60 games a season, if inspired and playing with either Matthews or Tavares, Boeser would be a point a game player. 6 1 " 208 lbs, a late first rd draft choice so not chump change.

The idea and goal is creating a dominant elite mobile defensive corp, hopefully the best in the league. Obviously sacrificing some serious offense in the trade propasal, particularly with Marner. Along with disrupting the chemistry between Mitch and Matthews, but it is not about an individual or two. It is about winning and assembling the personel to do so. Dubas dropped the ball after last years mistake on Foligno, this was the year to add and sacrifice a very late first rd pick to do so. Florida adding Giroux and Chiarot like wow. The talent available his year was unbelievable, that is not necessarily the norm. Would love to see the Leafs succeed, the 3 goalies the Leafs don't want to play 1 ) Vasilevsky, s2 ) Shir stir can something or another in NY, but damn he's good for a new guy lol 3 ) Freddies nightmare Andersen.
