I like the NJD trade and think it is fair value but I think we can get more for Nylander. Try to rope him into the NJ trade for 2nd overall.

I’m not sure of their plan with Askarov, they have Saros who is still young but it really depends how desperate they are for scoring. One of their goalies would probably be available for the right price.

Really like the NJ trade but feel Leafs should get a little more for Nylander, a 34 goal, and 80 point scorer.
I also think that the salary differential in the proposed Nashville trade is not workable as Nashville is trying to resign Forsberg at the moment and Forsberg is better than Nylander!

I would like to get more for Nylander. Land Askarov. Get Kunin.

I don't see Nylander worth more than proposed. Not sure Askarov is available, nor is he likely ready to be a number 1. I have had Kerfoot added in the past for Kunin, but I don't think Poile wants to make major lineup changes, just add to what is there.
They can afford both Nylander and Forsberg this year. Next year will be when they could run into cap issues. Of course, they have players they could move to create cap space.

Since the DeBrincat trade. I stand by my value on Nylander in this trade scenario. I might even be asking for a bit too high of a return.
