I would feel much better about this top 6 and Defenceman and we would have about 1.3M in cap space left. Probably light on the Nashville deal, may need to add both 3rd round picks

Really like both Jeannot and Larsson as targets for the Leafs.
They would fit beautifully.
Not sure Holl and a 1st is enough to acquire Larson though.
Holl is 30 and Kraken want youth.
It might take Sandin and a 1st but that complicates Leafs salary cap even more than it is now.
Jeannot would be a perfect fit on the Leafs but again, I don’t see Kerfoot and a 3rd round pick being sufficient return for Nashville to consider it.

I feel like it would take Kerfoot and Knies, who I really wouldn't want to get rid of. Maybe Kerfoot, Robertson and a pick gets it done.

Jeannot scored 24 last season. He hits (318 last season), he fights, he plays hard and PK's all for $800,000K and an RFA. Why would Nashville trade him unless it is a huge overpay?

I’d love to find a way to obtain a power forward like Jeannot but don’t think that exchange gets it done.

Not saying they want to trade him, I'm fully aware of what he brings ti the table. Something we desperately need! Just curious what it would take. Nylander? Would they add to that trade?

Yes, the Leafs could use someone like Jeannot, but with his contract you will over pay big, it is why I have said many times to target Trenin instead. Next summer, if Jeannot has another really good year and wants $4-$5M is when you get him cheaper.
