Nash and Toronto just seem like good trade partners imo. Each should have what the other needs.

Nash
Kerfoot $3.5M
Sandin $1.4M
SDA $.767M

Tor
Trenin $1.7M
Lauzon $2M

Nash gets more speed from Kerfoot. A young D in Sandin and a waiver exempt playmaking prospect in SDA.

Toronto gets size and physicality and Lauzon can play both sides. Leafs add SDA as Kerfoot is a pending UFA while both Nash players are signed for at least one more year.

I’m certainly ok with this trade and like the fact we get to see what we have in Robertson.

SDA playing well right now, probably due to being more comfortable playing against bigger players.

@Loxley. lol. yes, another one. Not getting Jeannot. Others are too expensive or not what the Leafs really need. I think he is the Leafs best target.

@RLF. I hear ya. and i'm just bugging ya. he is your this year's equivalent to Sam Bennett from last year. which i was on board with ya as well. i am at my wits end as to what this team needs. on a big scale i'd like to see them get big names like Horvat and Dumba on D. not gonna happen and on a lesser big move i'd be happy with Soucy ( also might be tough given the Kraken's play this year) and as far as a forward maybe Athanasiou. as long as those Tyler Myers stay just rumors i'll be happy.

All good Loxley. I guess Trenin is my "Bennettesque" target. Before Bennet was Weegar and in-between Bennett and Trenin was McLeod. I do get a little fixated on certain players. lol

A name no one has talked about for quite awhile that should interest the Leafs is Phillipe Myers. Just my opinion.
