With rielly out long term I don't think we have an option but to go get a D man I think we probably need to add more in this trade.. maybe Robertson?

I really don't think Holl is our problem!

I'm not saying he's what I want in our top4 but he earns his $2m. Plus he's not going to get you much if traded.

I do like Larsson but not at that price, Engval and a 2nd I'd do.

I'd also be leary of Chychrun until I satisfy myself through a thorough medical review by Leaf doctors.

And I would also make the Holmberg Myers trade that RLF suggested in the earlier post.

Larsson is Kraken’s best defender.
The Kraken are playing much better than last year and are hoping to fight for a playoff position.
They are not likely to trade their best defenseman to help the Leafs unless there is a substantial overpayment (an offer they can not refuse! )
Holl, Engvall and a 2nd in 2024 is certainly not that offer.
Matthew Knies and Leaf’s 2023 1st, might get them thinking.
Anything less and they enjoy the joke!

@Rsears I don't understand the Holl hate either. Everyone wants to blame a 3rd pairing guy that makes 2m for all the issues plaguing this team.

As one of the biggest Holl haters I will admit his game has got alot better playing with Giordano. Better I said still doesnt make him even good lol.
