Heard that Colorado is interested in Nylander. I've seen Toews for Nylander a lot which makes sense on paper but I worry that Toews numbers are inflated being paired with Makar.
Would Avs even consider trading Byram instead?

I would think a lot of teams will have interest in Willy. I can see Colorado as one, but their cap situation is not good. It would have to be money in, money out, so Toews does make sense. He is a point producer in the playoffs and that should appeal to Toronto. No GM and no coach certainty may put a hold on any moves involving the Leafs though.

what about something like lehkonen, byram, and 20241st for nylander, 2024 3rd

the issue with alot of things is you got to find the right trrade partner. i feel the best are the teasm just getting out from their rebuilding stage and into the limelight. anaheim, vancouver and seattle are probably the best trade targets. the benefit of this off season is there is still plenty of good talented players hitting the open market. so bringing in draft picks is likely the best route to go and signing a few players on the open market.

I'd rather try to sign Rtan Graves from the devils than trade willy for Toews. assuming the devils are not able to bring him back due to cap issues. a left side D like this looks pretty good to me and you can spot fill with Giordano

lox, I like the left side as is, my idea is move brodie, and sign any 2 of, sousy, severson, dumba. these will cost a couple bucks with severson being 6+m a season but I think hes do well with reilly. and soucy or dumba could look well with mccabe. that leaves Gio and a marlie an opportunity rotating in and out of the 3rd pairing beside shenn/ liljegren/ timmins.

Bowen Byram has barely made it to the NHL and he already has a lengthy injury history.
A good player when available but availability is critical.
