Edmonton buys out Campbell.

Toronto offers Campbell a contract for a long time.

They offer him a contract though that can be entirely sent to the minors.

Leafs can send him down if he sucks.

Leafs have a cheap goalie fix if he plays the way he did before in Toronto.

Randy. If you want to give Campbell a shot (which I don't), why not just offer him a 1 year show me deal at around a $1m, so it can be buried if he doesn't work out. Why a long term deal? He has no value at the moment.
