Gonna try a friendly fire trade with Montreal;

To Tor: Newhook (23yo/ C/ 2.9Mx3 left on his deal) + Wi-Fi as our new tough guy (1.3Mx2 left on his deal)

To MTL: Minten, Hakanpaa, Reaves, Kampf

IMO Newhook is what we hope Minten will become but Newhook is NHL ready now and still only 23. Hakanpaa gives MTL a big sturdy RHD, Reaves is a cap dump and Kampf is there to fill the void until Minten is ready.

@Grumpy every time I see Newhook play he is all over the ice and annoying to play against. Not only that he is going and still developing. But then again Grumpy you don’t like anyone do you? Ripping these guys apart like their not in the NHL.

Including Minten in that trade post is clear evidence of an absolute delusional Hockey mind and a clear indication of an individual who knows absolutely ZERO about hockey talent.

Personally, I hope if the leafs trade a guy like Minten, it's in a deal that brings back a top player and I don't see one in this deal. I think Leafs are overpaying.
