If I'm Treleving, I would be looking to move some forward bodies for picks/prospects at the moment. There will be time later to add a playoff piece and the extra trade capital of some picks/prospects will come in handy.

My favourite target to trade. Even the weathermac admits it's time for Robertson to move on. St. Louis is having trouble scoring and are aging a bit.

Leafs get a bottom 6 project big man RW who has some skill and isn't afraid to drop the mitts. Leafs add a 4th round pick as well.

Leafs also have Grebenkin, Steeves and Holmberg on top of Minten and Cowan.

Grebenkin looks like he could become a good complimentary winger. Having Knies, McMann, Domi and Grebenkin on the left side as Minten will likely end up the 3C over time, means no room for a player like Robertson.

You even said yourself it is time for Robertson to go. 1 goal changes everything? No, he needs to go and that goal the other night would still get some GM out there thinking they could use that kind of goal scoring. It's not even the lack of production is why I would trade him. He isn't built for the Leafs style of play and isn't talented enough to compensate otherwise. He is a very self-centred player as well that the Leafs don't need. Simply put, the Leafs don't need him, but he shows some glimpses that would likely get some other GM to want to take him.

LL I don’t like Roberson much either but that goal wasn’t a fluke. He’s got a great shot. Sadly not much else.
