I really don’t see how another left handed, 33 year old defenseman (14 games, 0g, 3a, 3pts, -3)would improve the Leafs.
Montreal are already juggling defensemen as they have so many.
I question their interest in Benoit another 3rd pairing defender (other than he is French ?)
Robertson and a 3rd round pick for Evans would be good for the Leafs but I read Montreal really likes Evans and would prefer to keep him.

Savard is the key price at this year's trade deadline. He probably do well pairing with Rielly since he plays a simple game.
