The notion is that Morgan Rielly might waive his NTC to go home to Vancouver.

The Canucks have little that I’d be interested in.

I might, however, try Seattle and trade for Chandler Stephenson.

He was a SC winner in Vegas and had a huge playoff the year they won.

Stephenson is in fact 31yo but only has 4 years left at $1m less than Rielly, who is also 31.
Stephenson is still well above average for skating speed and scored 50+ points and can PK.
I wouldn’t write him off so quickly.
